International Factors Group

Founded in 1963, the International Factors Group (IFG) was the first international factoring union. IFG is headquartered in Brussels. IFG concentrates on organizing international factoring operations for various companies worldwide. It has 138 members in 50 nations. Cooperation among IFG members is based on the unified General Rules for International Factoring (GRIF). IFG highest governing body is its General Assembly, represented by all full members of the group. The chief executive body is the Board of Directors, headed by its chairman.
At the present time, IFG is being reorganized as a global trade union. Plans include the development of operations in Eastern Europe and Asia, as well as involvement of partners and sponsors.
The evolution of the factoring industry presents new challenges for IFG:

• training and experience sharing within factoring as a highly specialized area of business;
• finding solutions for the legal complexities of international operations;
• analysis and comparison of the legal environment in different countries;
• development of risk management;
• analysis of growth trends in factoring.

In the course of performing its key missions, IFG is active in conducting research and implementing a diversity of educational programs:

• specialized training courses for new members;
• workshops for sales managers;
• programs related to new products in the industry.

Association of Factoring Companies

The Association of Factoring Companies is the only organization in Russia which brings together participants in the factoring market. Established in 2007, the association has a mandate to act in the interest of players in the factoring market, promote the development of general standards and rules of behavior in the market, help to create comfortable working conditions in the market, and engage in a dialogue with government agencies on behalf of the professional community.

The Association of Factoring Companies is open to all members of the factoring market in the Russian Federation and invites them to join.
